TRIP AGENDAS

Moab Vacation Tips

If you're just here for a few days, here are some highlights that you shouldn't miss while in Moab.

You could spend days in the National Parks, but these vacation tips will help you hit the highlights.

These are full agendas, so you'll be glad to get back to a nice townhome!

Day 1 in Moab - National Parks

Day 2 in Moab - Adventure

Day 3 in Moab - Hiking

Day 4 in Moab - Rafting

  • Full day Moab Daily White Water Rafting
    • Paddleboard or Raft the closest section of whitewater to Moab

    • Most companies in Moab will start at Hittle Bottom and pick you up at Take out Beach

    • While you're up in the area be sure to take a look at Fisher Towers!

Day 5 in Moab - Goblin Valley/Canyoneering

  • 1/2 day at Goblin Valley
    • Goblin Valley is a must see state park that would be considered a national park in any other state! Hike around here for 2-3 hours and take your camera!

      then...

    • About 20 minutes away you'll find a super nice slot canyon called Little Wildhorse.  It is a non-technical, beautiful slot canyon that will introduce your family to canyoneering!

  • Be sure to hit Ray's Tavern in Green River on your way back to Moab!

Day 6 in Moab - Canyoneering

  • Full day Canyoneering in the Irish Canyons
    • Leprechaun Canyon is the tightest, longest slot I've personally ever squeezed through.

It can be done with ropes from the top, but we just walked in from the bottom, went up and came back down with no ropes.

This slot is tight, so if you're above 185 pounds you may have a difficult time with this one.

  • Be sure to hit Ray's Tavern in Green River on your way back to Moab!
